October 2: Swedish Pancake Breakfast

Visit the Swedish Club NW on Sunday, October 2nd for their monthly pancake breakfast! It’s an authentic Swedish pancake breakfast complete with ham, lingonberries and all of the fixings. There will be dancing and live music. The price is $9 for adults, $7 for club members and $5 for children ages 5-12.
October 2: CroatiaFest
12pm – 6pm | Seattle Center
Enjoy continuous live performances, food, beverages, crafts, vendors and activities that showcase the culture of Croatia at the 13th annual CroatiaFest. There will also be cooking demonstrations, historical exhibits, and a wine tasting from 2 – 4 p.m. priced at $15/person.
October 4: Seattle Children’s Museum Fall Breakfast
8am – 9am | Seattle Children’s Museum
The Seattle Children’s Museum’s annual Fall Breakfast fundraiser is on Tuesday, October 4th from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. There will be a conversation with Mike Dunn, President of Dunn Lumber, Rodney Clark, Vice President at Microsoft, and a volunteer from the museum.
October 7: Viking Disco

Love ABBA? Don’t miss the Viking Disco night at the Swedish Club NW on Friday, October 7th. Music will be performed by 80s Invasion, a cover band, and costumes are encouraged!
October 9: NW Folklife’s Seattle Children’s Festival
8am – 9am | Seattle Center
Local communities come together on October 9th for the 3rd annual Seattle Children’s Festival. Hosted in part by NW Folklife, this one-day festival is multicultural and multi-generational to celebrate our big neighborhood. With live performances and interactive workshops, this event is free and open to all ages (suggested donation of $10 per person or $20 per family).
October 11: Maroon 5 at Key Arena
7pm – 10pm | Key Arena
Maroon 5 and special guests Tove Lo and Phases will be at the Key Arena on October 11th as part of their Fall 2016 tour. Tickets start at $26.50.
October 15 & 16: TurkFest
12pm – 6pm | Seattle Center
Celebrate the multiple cultures of modern Turkey at the 2016 TurkFest on October 15th and 16th. This year’s theme is “Turkish Cuisine: Taste a Touch of Turkiye”. In addition to authentic foods and beverages to enjoy, there will be live performances, activities and crafts, and vendor booths showcasing Turkish art and handmade goods for sale.
October 29 & 30: Dia de Muertos Festival
11am – 6pm | Seattle Center
Celebrate the Day of the Dead with the cultural authenticity of Mexican celebrations at the Dia de Muertos Festival 2016 on October 29th and 30th. There will be altar-offerings, a cemetery replica, sand painting, art workshops, short films, live music performances, and more.
