You also have access to restaurants and shops especially on lower Queen Anne or on top of the hill. Emerald Bay Equity, the developer behind the mixed-use project Seven Hills, is apparently moving smoothly toward construction, as reported by KOMO news. Initially the project had been designated for office space (primarily medical), but after serious economic consideration, Emerald Bay submitted plans to switch the project to mixed-use residential/retail. Seven Hills will now consist of 57 apartments in nearly 30,000 sf sitting above 8,000 sf of retail space, at 1919 Queen Anne Ave. N. This is the third of four projects Emerald Bay planned for Queen Anne. The others include the already completed Eden Hill, Sweetbrier, (both luxury apartments) and the final (in planning) which will sit next to the Metropolitan Market.
