Man Fatally Stabbed at Queen Anne Dick’s Drive-In

Seattle police responded to reports of a stabbing in lower Queen Anne at about 2 a.m. on Friday, June 23rd. They found a 26-year-old man stabbed in the chest.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of the life-threatening injury, but he later died. KIRO 7 News reported that the man’s name is Andrew Pimentel, and he had been singing at Ozzie’s, which is located on the corner of 1st Avenue West and West Mercer Street. At about 2 a.m., he went three blocks east to Dick’s Drive-In when he was attacked.

According to witnesses, a suspect crossed the street to the parking lot at Dick’s Drive-In, stabbed the victim—unprovoked—with a large knife, then walked away. A 38-year-old suspect was apprehended and booked into King County Jail.
